Participation Requirements

To participate in the competition, the participant must be a follower of Derbystar's Instagram channel (https://www.instagram.com/DERBYSTAR). Other requirements are defined in the post. The prizes will be drawn among all participants who meet these conditions.

The contest begins with the publication of the contest post on the DERBYSTAR Instagram channel https://www.instagram.com/DERBYSTAR. The prizes are defined in the post.

You can participate until one week after the publication. All users who participate after this time will not be considered for the prize draw. The winners will be randomly selected from all participants who meet the above-mentioned participation conditions and will be immediately announced in the comments under the contest post. By participating in the contest, participants agree that their name may be published on the DERBYSTAR Instagram channel in case of winning.

Eligible to participate are all followers of the Instagram channel: https://www.instagram.com/DERBYSTAR.

Participants must be at least 18 years old.

We distance ourselves from posts that violate applicable laws, WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook guidelines, or copyright, or that are inappropriate. We reserve the right to immediately remove such posts.

We reserve the right to change, adjust, or terminate the contest at any time if necessary due to abuse. The contest is in no way connected to WhatsApp, Instagram, or Facebook and is not sponsored, supported, or organized by WhatsApp, Instagram, or Facebook. Inclusion of Third-Party Services and Content

It may happen that within this online offer, third-party content such as videos from YouTube, maps from Google Maps, RSS feeds, or graphics from other websites are included.

This always requires that the providers of this content (hereinafter referred to as "third-party providers") perceive the IP address of the users. Without the IP address, they could not send the content to the browser of the respective user. The IP address is therefore necessary for the display of this content. We strive to use only such content whose respective providers use the IP address solely for the delivery of the content. However, we have no influence if the third-party providers store the IP address, e.g., for statistical purposes. As far as we are aware, we inform the users about it.

Handling of Personal Data

Personal data is information that can help determine a person, i.e., information that can be traced back to a person. This includes the name, email address, or phone number. But also data about preferences, hobbies, memberships, or which websites someone has viewed count as personal data. Personal data is only collected, used, and passed on by the provider if this is legally permitted or if the users consent to the data collection.

DERBYSTAR ensures the highest possible data protection standards within the framework of the contest and observes all relevant legal provisions in this regard.

DERBYSTAR will not forward personal data to third parties not involved in conducting the contest or sell address data. DERBYSTAR stores the personal data provided during registration. By registering, participants expressly consent to the storage and use of the data for the duration of the contest and its execution by DERBYSTAR or a third party commissioned by DERBYSTAR. Participants are free at any time to revoke their consent to the use and storage of their data by written notice to DERBYSTAR or to request a correction of the data. An email to info@derbystar.de is sufficient. In the event of a revocation, the personal data of the specific participant will be deleted immediately. If the revocation occurs before the completion of the contest, further participation in the contest is excluded. DERBYSTAR is entitled to contact the winners of the prizes. Participants expressly agree to this by participating in the contest.

Revocation, Changes, Corrections, and Updates

The user has the right to request free information about the personal data stored about him/her. Additionally, the user has the right to correct incorrect data, block, and delete his/her personal data, as long as there is no legal retention obligation. Should individual provisions of these terms and conditions be ineffective or if there is a regulatory gap, this does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. The ineffective or missing provision is replaced by a provision that comes closest to the purpose of the contract and the legal provisions. Employees of DERBYSTAR and their relatives as defined in §15 AO (Fiscal Code) are excluded from participating in the contest.
